 Toronto Real Estate House "Deals"

 

Houses that  "show well"   immaculately clean and nicely decorated tend to sell very quickly  and for a higher price.  Whether you are a Home Buyer  in  Central Toronto, Downtown Toronto or North Toronto you should look beyond the surface -poor decorating, untidiness, you are likely able to purchase the home at a significantly lower price. When you view a home, condo, loft or townhouse that requires work try to imagine  colours you would choose, nice hardwood floors and new broadloom.  Look at the good points of the house.  Would it be brighter with different window treatments and the windows cleaned?  Could the garden area be landscaped to suit your needs? Try to separate the cosmetic condition of the house and the condition of the structure , furnace, plumbing, roof and other major systems. 

 Some "handyman specials" need lots of electrical, plumbing etc which are costly and others that are the real buys can be changed with a little paint, cleanup  and your imagination.
