The Annex annex house

Overview:

Real estate developer Simeon Hemon Janes commenced the beginning of the area considered one of the oldest suburbs of that period. At that point Bloor Street was the northern boundary. The Annex today means Harbord Street to Davenport Road between Avenue Road and Bathurst.

The houses are large mansions,  many Victorian in style on heavily tree lined streets  As you go further to the west the homes become more modest

The Annex today is very diverse in the sense that you have students living in these converted rooming houses and at the other end of the spectrum professional folks in renovated,  luxury, single family and duplexed homes.
