Welcome to Rosedale
Rosedale is a affluent neighborhood and, formerly the estate of William Botsford Jarvis. It is located north of Downtown Toronto and it runs from the west Yonge Street , south Bloor Street, east Bayview Avenue and is divided into a north and south area by Park Drive Ravine.
Originally the home of St Andrew’s College was located in North Rosedale now its home is in Aurora. Rosedale Golf Club had a lacrosse field which held the first Grey Cup game.
Driving thru the neighbourhood you will find mainly spacious luxury detached homes, Victorian, Edwardian, and Georgian style, winding streets and an abundance of foliage. It is an oasis in the middle of the city with very little vehicular traffic and only a 10 minute walk to the subway at Yonge and Bloor
In the spring Rosedale Park will hold its annual festivity with activities for children i.e rides, carnival type activities and also a flea market. It is run and funded by the Mooredale House
